Every destination, with distance, time and price

Prices below are per car and include VAT, meet & greet inside Terminal 2 arrivals and 60 minutes of waiting after you land. The figure shown is the Standard class — a sedan or crossover for up to three passengers; the larger cars are priced on each destination's own page.

Helsinki city centre and hotels

The centre is 20 km from the terminal, about half an hour by car, and the fare is the same fixed €65 to any of these addresses — hotel door, apartment or office.

Towns and cities within about two hours

Porvoo for the old town, Lahti and Vierumäki for winter sport, Turku and Naantali for the archipelago, Tampere for the lakes — one car, one price agreed in advance, and no changing trains in Helsinki with your luggage.

Longer trips across Finland

The lake district and Lapland are a long day on the road. The price is still fixed before you book, but for Rovaniemi most travellers fly north and take a car at the other end — 832 km by road is eleven hours in one day.

Train, bus, taxi or a car of your own?

For one traveller with a cabin bag on a weekday afternoon, the Ring Rail train is the honest best answer: about 30 minutes to Central Station for €4.80. A private car earns its price in the other cases — three or more passengers, cruise-sized luggage, a night arrival when the trains thin out, an address the train does not reach, or a first visit where certainty is worth more than the difference.

The full comparison of every option, with 2026 prices, is in how to get from Helsinki Airport to the city centre. If you are weighing the apps, we wrote Uber, Bolt or a taxi at HEL. And if it comes down to train versus car, there is a decision rule for that.

What the fixed price includes

One price for the car. Not per person, VAT included, no meter and no airport surcharge. It is agreed when you book and does not move with the traffic.

Met inside arrivals. Your driver waits in the Terminal 2 arrivals hall with a sign, and the fare includes 60 minutes after landing. We watch the flight, so a delay costs you nothing.

Night and holiday rides cost more. Between midnight and 06:00, and on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January, the fare is higher — the quote at booking already shows the final figure.

Five vehicle classes. From a Standard sedan to a Mercedes-Benz Vito for eight passengers or a V-Class for seven; see the prices page for what fits in each.

Plan the trip before you book

Our free helpers answer the questions that come just before a transfer: when to leave for your flight, how long the drive takes right now, the next trains into Helsinki, ferry and cruise departures, live arrivals and the security queue at HEL.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Helsinki Airport from the city centre?
About 20 km, which is roughly 30 minutes by car outside rush hour. The airport sits in Vantaa, north of Helsinki, and the drive is motorway almost the whole way.
How much is a taxi from Helsinki Airport to the city centre?
With us it is a fixed €65 for the whole car, agreed before you travel. From the rank outside arrivals the meter decides: Finland's taxi market is deregulated, so operators at the same rank charge different rates — check the price sticker on the window before getting in.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. Four people to the city centre pay the same €65 as one, and luggage is included.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track the flight and move the pickup with it. The fare includes 60 minutes of waiting after landing, so a late arrival is our problem, not an extra charge.
Where does the driver meet me?
Inside the Terminal 2 arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name — not in a car park and not at the kerb. The step-by-step version is on our arrival instructions page.
Do prices change at night or on holidays?
Yes. Rides between midnight and 06:00, and on 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January, are priced higher. The quote you see when booking already includes it and is the final figure.
How many passengers and bags can you take?
Five vehicle classes, from a Standard sedan for up to three passengers to a Mercedes-Benz Vito for up to eight. All of them are on the prices page with what fits in each.
Do you drive outside the Helsinki region?
Yes — the table above runs from a 4 km hop in Vantaa to 832 km to Rovaniemi. Long trips are quoted the same way: one fixed price for the car, agreed before you book.
